Min wants to allow firms to deduct mask spending from payroll tax
MOSCOW, May 29 (PRIME) -- The Russian Labor Ministry has suggested allow companies to deduct spending on masks, sanitizers and gloves from the payroll tax, a spokesperson for the ministry told PRIME on Friday.
"The Labor and Social Protection Ministry of the Russian Federation offers to reimburse employers' spending on counteraction to the coronavirus infection spread. A corresponding draft order has been prepared and agreed upon with the authorities in the sphere," the official said.
The amount of compensations shall not exceed 20% of the payroll tax paid for 2019.
